I have been looking forward to going to Australia for a long time. This is my first time traveling abroad.
At first, I was very worried about language barriers, but I soon realized that daily communication was not too difficult. And the local people are full of goodwill. For example, when I was at the homestay, my Astralian parents were very friendly. They would say more slowly during conversations and always take good care of us.
I found that people in Australia have a strong respect for the environment. I learned about the importance of protecting the environment in the course.
Visiting various attractions is the highlight of this trip. From the enchanting beaches of Surfer Paradise to the thrilling rides of Dreamland, every day is filled with new experiences. I still have a vivid memory of the fun of playing roller coaster in the Sea World and the opportunity to interact with kangaroos and other Australian animals at the Kulombin Wildlife Refuge.
Speaking of food, I tried many new dishes, including delicious barbecue, fresh seafood, and Australia's ice cream. The thoughtful dishes made by our parents always satisfy us.
The architecture in Brisbane and Sydney is also impressive. The Sydney Opera House and iconic bridges leave me in awe. These structures represent the fusion of modernity and tradition in Australian design.
Although I didn't explore technology much during my journey, I did notice how advanced their public transportation system is, filling society with order.
Finally, Australia's civilization and etiquette consciousness can be seen everywhere. People line up politely, say 'please' and'thank you', and strive to include everyone. The salesperson will patiently repeat the words until you understand. This made me realize how important it is to be friendly and considerate towards others.
In short, my research trip to the Gold Coast of Australia was an unforgettable experience that taught me a lot about Australia's language, culture, attractions, food, architecture, and culture. It also allowed me to make many friends and broaden my horizons. I returned with a broader perspective and a heart filled with precious memories. I think this will have a significant impact on my entire life.
